Tough to find ones in good condition on this side of the ocean. You can Google for the following companies, which would likely have them in stock:

Benz Friendz -- Seattle
Silver Star Motors -- Sacramento
Tri-Star Parts -- Tempe, AZ
Potomac German Auto -- Maryland?

Cheers,
Gerry

shipping

I hear you, I found a nice set online off a 73. The price was right but they wanted $180 to ship from the west coast. In my homeland (England) They are as cheap as dirt, but I would hate to guess what they would cost.

Is there anything special that needs to be done with the installation?

YES....the front one bolt to captive nuts that slip into pockets in the front sheet metal...

I have to make those myself out of cold roled flat stock and I drilled and tapped them...I packed the pockets with heavy grease to inhitit corrosian.

THe rears will need two holes drilled into the body as those do not line up with the 4 bolts each the bumper shocks previously mounted to....Helps to have a second set of hands to do this.

I used a big rubber washer between the body and bumper on the rear (looks like a rubber fender washer).
