Hello

I am selling my 1979 240D for parts or complete.
It is located in central ILL but came from Mesa Arizona 2yrs ago.

It does start and run but it is very hard to get started. I just put in new glow plugs and that did not help (it had already been converted to the new style plugs) I believe it has low compression but cannot check it at this time. The body is straight with the usual clear coat peeling this start last fall and a very small amount of surface rust on the hood no holes it is about the size of a nickle last time I looked at it. There is a rust hole in the rocker panel on the driver side in front of the jack hole it was there when I got the car.

It needs PF, PR, DR window motors that is why the door is apart the windows is proped up while I was looking for one. The back windows have been changed to manual windows until the correct regulators could be located. It also needs the window switches. I did have the air conditioner working last year also. The car was my daily driver. I just cannot have a car that it that hard to start plus I want a 300SD as I need the leg room.

The back seat springs are fine I will double check to make sure the seat springs are good I have not used it in a while. But the interior of this car is green.

Yes I still have the A/C Compressor with clutch.

It worked last year when I had it charged but I have not driven the car since sometime in November.

Yes I have the AC compressor but I cannot get it out until I remove the engine which I am hoping to get to this weekend. If you want it I will sell it to you for $20 plus shipping if you want.

I will sell the remaining car as is. If you want pics and info email me and I will get you pics and a list of what has been sold already. The body is in good shape just 1 rust hole by the drivers front jack hole. The car came from Mesa, Az.

Do you have an uncracked BLUE DASHBOARD? I need one for a W123 300TD. Mine is 1983 year. I think any uncracked blue dash from a W123 would do, thanks.
