Exclamation 420SEL rear power sunscreen/privacy curtain

Need the entire motor/gear assembly for the rear deck power sunscreen. This is the one that covers up the rear window when up and sits behind the rear speakers. Mine has a good toothed belt but the bakelite gear in the drive assembly is stripped. Will take entire rear deck if you don't want to take it all apart. Just make sure gears are ok.

I have a source in Germany with the motor for the rear shade sunscreen for a w126. If this is the part you're reffering to.. let me know. Also post the price range you're willing to spend including shipping from Germany.

In used condition no more than $100 US. It's just the one gear in the gearbox that's stripped. The motor itself is fine. Thanks.

Well, the motor itself is attached to a gearbox that is attached to a u-shaped metal tube. In this metal tube is a toothed belt like the power antenna. The toothed belt rides along a gear in the gearbox that has a white snap-on cover on it. This gear is a combo bakelite/brass gear about an inch in diameter. The bakelite gear on mine is stripped of teeth (bakelite against a brass worm - German engineering???). It is all one piece so I will need the whole thing.
