WTB: blue dashboard for 85 300D 123
 

i am looking for a blue uncracked dashoard for my 85 300D. if anyone has one or knows of a place where i can find one, please PM, IM, or e-mail me. thanks :)

Good luck. The last uncracked blue dash I saw, that wasn't in a serviceable car, was at a wrecking yard in Denham Springs, LA. It was in a 280TE, and was in beautiful condition. I can't remember the name of the yard - it was listed in the Baton Rouge yellow pages. Try either German, or European, Auto Wrecking should you decide to pursue it. It's been some time now since I was there, but this guy tends to hang onto his cars for awhile, and South Louisiana is not exactly a hotbed for folks restoring 123's so who knows...?

If you can find a good dash in any color you may look into Sem colorcoat. It is comes in spray cans and you can find it at auto paint supply shops I changed a walnut to black and it came out great you cant tell. Good luck Ross

I found one
 

I found on pulled it and snagged it on a sharp corner of something in the pile of cores they put right next to the check out. I was already over heated over tired I about blew a gasket. That would have been Benz crushers new dash can you say bad day. Funny thing is I never saw a wagon in Santa Clara county till about 2 months ago now there every where. But there is not another blue dash that is not shot any where to be found. I was so ticked off I forgot to go back in and get the jump seat out of a white wagon they had and it was half off today oh well better luck and more care next time.
