parting out a 1986 300 SDL
Recently I posted in the diesel discussion that I was coming into this vehicle. Well I am going to be parting her out. The chassis is fairly rusted and not worth repairing (to me anyways) I plan on keeping the engine and various components that will fit my (2) 124's if there is any interest in other parts off of her, let me know and I will state their availability and condition, we can discuss payment and shipping from there. Any parts left after 30 days will be put on e-bay I figured this forum may like to have first crack at her. I can take pictures of specific things if needed. I will be checking the forum often for responces and requests. When I get home I will get some pictures of her to put with the post
exterior: white interior: grey Also posted in the diesel discussion forum

Is the armrest in good shape? I also need a rear seat but suppose that would be too hard to ship.

There is 155k on the eng/trans, but I was hoping to keep those (I still need to assess whether or not the 126 and 124 shared the same trans) If it turns out they are not the same where are you located?

The interior seems to be the same color as mine, so here's my list:
-front seat bottom cover only -front seat back cover only -rear headrest cover, or would take the whole headrest if unable to remove just the cover -oil cooler with lines and anything that holds it (PO bypassed mine with a pipe and cut off the flared ends) -what kind of condition are the floor mats in? -how are the 'B' pillar covers (are they torn around the seat belt retractor?) -ambient temp display in cluster as well as the sensor that runs up and attaches behind the front license plate -if the previous poster doesn't take it, I'd also like the far right side dash wood (if it's not broken at the corner) -one nut that holds the oil filter housing lid on (14mm?) I'll let you know if anything else comes up. Just out of curiosity, what number is the head, 22? Thanks David

Though I think I have a little more testing to do, do you know if the PBU for the ACC works as it should (right temp, proper blower speed, correct vents) Mine intermittently won't blow on high speed and won't blow through the center vents for A/C.
Thanks Again David

The above items that are not marked "spoken for" are still available and can be purchased. Can you please PM me with your request so that I might keep better track of the parts you want? also the Climate control is spoken for I believe. On a side note, the issues you seem to be having with your CCU may actually be your blower motor and or your vaccuum actuators for your vent control and not the CCU
