300 td SLS hydraulic suspension parts for sale

i've removed my hydraulic suspension from my 1982 300td in favor of a pair of coil over shocks. i don't know how they'll work yet, but if you're interested reply and i'll tell you when i'm done.

for now, i'm selling my hydraulic pump and tank, both of which i know are sound, and the valve, shocks, and accumulators, which i can't give any guarantees on. i'm sure at least one shock and one accumulator are in working order, but the others may both be broken, or only one of them may be. all parts look good for rebuild at a minimum.

i'd like to get ~$300 for all the parts, if you're interested in the whole kit and kaboodle let me know, or if you want a price for an individula part let me know that too.

nick

Nick,
How are the shocks working out for you? Is your wagon sitting level? What springs did you use and did you use spacers to set the level?
I have an '80 300TD and I'm struggling with this issue.
Thanks.

I’ve got an 88’ 300TE in need of new hydropneumatic shocks and accumulators and am also curious if your conversion worked out. I’d rather go that route then spend the money replacing mine with stock parts.

Not a big poster.....
He was selling all the windows from an 82 300TD last month, so it doesn't sound like it went real well.......

Don't do it!

I did it 3 years ago and posted a thread about it. The car rides like crap and bottoms out when loaded compared to the TD I had with a perfect SLS system. It was a real bear to install the coil-overs and for what Strut Masters charged for the kit ( about $300) it wasn't worth it...

shock

I could use the driver side shock if it is not blown like mine. Is there a way to disassemble and rebuild them?

Understand that I mean this politely, but do you folks not look at the dates from when threads are started, and then maybe check out the persons postings since then?

But Jimmy, it's fun because nobody complains about posting in dead or outdated threads.
