5 Bundt Cake 300D rims, excellent shape

I am selling five bundy cake aluminum rims from a 300D Turbo/300SD. All rims are in good shape, and at most need a coat of paint. None are too chipped up, and they all shine up really nicely. I want to get 125 for the five, or 25 dollars each. Local pickup preferred, but will ship if necesary. Price is negotiable. PM me if interested.

At the junkyard (in the San Francisco area), they sell for $14, including the tire that is on them. There is $3 deposit for the core.

Why should someone pay u $25 for each ????? And that does not include shipping ????

Dude.. its only $25. Even taking into consideration YOUR source for $14 wheels with probably bald tires, thats only $11 more per wheel! Big deal!

At every jumkyard (in the tiverton Rhode Island area) they want at least 35 dollars each for these, including a new set of bald tires. Thats my price, no one is forcing you to buy them. If no one buys them I'll give them to the recyclers who'll give me 50 cents a pound to melt them down. I figure I'd just like to sell some good rims, and put a little money in my pocket.

the reason I'm quitting this site

Attitude and insults to fellow subscribers by so-called experts who feel they have a right to make snotty remarks.

Why the heck should you care if he's selling his rims for $500 a piece?

just don't buy them

Good luck with this b-s

Easy does it guys...

Anyone can sell whatever they want for whatever they want for it. If someone wants to pay less they should simply have the nerve to make you an offer. The worst thing that can happen is the seller says no. I sell machinery. We get some pretty ridiculous offers, but sometimes we take them. People say they don't want to insult me but I tell them we have to start somewhere. Then we negotiate, that's all.

I bought (5) 14" bundt cake rims for $75 from a scrap guy who brought them to me because he thought they might fit my car. A little sandblasting and aluminum paint and they are as good as used. It is difficult to make them great without the facilities to sand blast and paint silver then clear coat. I know that from experience. A sandblast cabinet is not really strong enough. The big outdoor blasters are needed.

I use mine for snow tires. $25 is not so bad and they look okay. I am sure they will sell. Good luck.
