SALE W124 shocks 90 300E Good condition
I have a set of 4 shocks, font and rear, for the older 88-90 W124.
These were sent to me from a member here on the boards, I did not know that the 91 W124 is different, so I don't need them. $125 takes them all. I work on BMW's so I don't need this. Thanks! Jesse

Are they bilsteins...and are they new?

1989 300ce 129k ( facelifted front,updated tail lights, lowered suspension,bilstein sports, lorinser front spoiler, MOMO steering wheel, remus exhaust,stainless steel brake lines). (Gone) 1997 s320 154k (what a ride). Sold with 179k miles. Replaced with Hyundai Equus 1994 e320 Cabriolet 108k  1972 280se 4.5 153k Owned for 12 yrs, sorry I sold it [/SIGPIC]

Uhhhh. These are not for any W124 that I have seen, neither the front nor back look even close to this.

can you try to find a number for the fronts? (the two sandwiched)
I just bought a brand new set of back bilstein shock absorbers off ebay for 55 dollars and am interested in fronts. btw, I think the fronts and backs look like 124 shocks.. I really hope you didn't pay 120 dollars for used shocks. Someone put gabriel shocks on my sons 300e, they have to go... used bilsteins would be better... his car floats all over the place.

I'm pretty sure those are for a S class (or maybe an earlier E?). I have changed struts and shocks more than once on more than one 86-95 W124 sedan, and the ones pictured above definitely won't fit. I sure sympathize with you about the purchase. I suggest posting the picture over in the tech forum asking whether anybody recognizes these.
