400E 2.82 diff F/S

how does euro differ from US? I'd be interested if it would work, but Im guessing it doesnt.

The 2.82 upgrade is common on the 400E to make it quicker off the line, and generally more responsive to drive... more like a 500E. The Euro models came with a 2.65 ratio, the USA models got neutered with the 2.26 ratio for fuel economy reasons or some other such BS. Should be a direct swap, just make sure it's an ASR diff if your car has ASR (or not, if you don't.) Almost definitely NOT a limited-slip unless someone paid a LOT of money for the conversion ($1k+ last time I checked.)
