WTB: Climate Control Unit for a Mercedes '96 S320.. Please Help!!!
Does anyone know where I can find a climate control unit for my '96 S320? Most of the parts places on the Internet don't have it and the best local price I could find for this unit was $830! I'm trying to sell my car and dont' want to spend ANY more money than I have to. Could someone PLEASE point me in the right direction??? Please e-mail me at daw@jhu.edu with any info!

It would be helpful if you could post the part number that is on the unit you have now. Someone may have one that fits, but comparing part numbers is best. Also, it may have to be programmed for your car.
Try this link. It surveys all the participating wrecking yards for the part you want. Just fill in the menus and do a search. Look under "Heat A/C Control". Prices look like they range from a high of 500 to a low of just over 100 dollars for your E320. http://www.car-part.com/
