For Sale Alpine 12 disk changer

For sale Alpine 12 disk CD changer. Should work with all 2000 and newer Alpine HU.

I removed it from my old 1991 420SEL

Not sure about compatibility with any other brand of radio or HU.

This is a direct connect CD changer and it is controlled directly from the HU.

Make me a reasonable offer + shipping.

Bump...

I also have an Alpine H/U Model 7892. I took it out of my daughter's 300TE when I bought a new iPod compatible Alpine H/U.

The ALPINE 7892 H/U and the Alpine 12 disk CD changer should work together as a unit.

Make me an offer on both units as a package deal.

Reasonable offer?

Being ignorant of used Alpine values, what would be "reasonable" to you?

I don't know much about used Alpine prices either. I've seen this same changer go for about $100.00 on eBay (average price).

Right now the changer is sitting on a garage shelf. I will never use it again because: (1) my kids are into iPods and the H/U in their cars are iPod-ready (seems like kids don't use CDs anymore) and (2) my own car has a factory CD changer (though I wish it was a 12 disk changer and not the puny 6-disk changer that comes factory standard).

So, while the changer is sitting on a garage shelf it does me no good and it could go into someone's car making that person a happy listener.

So, I'll entertain all reasonable offers.

Note 1: I do not have the cable that goes from the H/U to the changer (I don't know how much those cables are. Most of the units for sale on eBay do not have the cable).

Note 2: I have an Alpine 7892 H/U that will control the disk changer. It came out of daughter's 300TE when I had the iPod-ready new Alpine installed in her car.

Different options...

Just thinking of options for CD playback in my SDL. The factory cassette is in good order and an aftermarket RF CD changer is a possibility. That way I wouldn't lose the amp and factory look of the Becker.

Seems like your set up would be about the same cost as the RF CD changer.
