The spare tire was missing in the wagon when i bought it. I have no idea if the original was aluminum or steel. Are the spares full size and match the regular wheels on the car? My wheels are the original cast alum mercedes wheels.
thanks erik

My 85 TD has a spare mounted on a 'bundt cake" aluminum wheel.

It has a 'full size' spare, so any wheel, steel or aluminum, that works with the 123 body will fit in the spare compartment, and work as a spare tire on the car. Sorry, I don't have one to sell you, but this should widen your options for hunting.
peace, sam

I have an aluminum spare wheel from a '85 300D 123 sedan, complete with a good tire. The center cap is probably missing; I don't remember. What's it worth? Where are you located?

St. Louis area. I don't have any idea what a wheel like this is worth, or even if it's worth enough to warrant shipping to the coast.

propigskin, I am not sure if you're anywhere near Monrovia but try going here. http://www.pick-a-part.us/Monrovia.html
They have a 6' high field of wheels including MB bundts, some are damaged but there are LOT to pick from and most were just covered in brake dust. Not sure how much they are but I am sure they're pretty reasonable. Maybe $15 bucks or less? |
