123 wagon roof rack rails, brand new

i have for sale 5 brand new original mercedes roof rack rails that will fit all 123 wagons, they are the ones that attach to the roof directly and have the rubber to protect the paint from damage when loading the roof, make offer.

do you have a picture on or off a car?

My 300CE is not supported by MB or any of the aftermarket roof rack companies. (in the US) I may be able to use this part in my fabrication process.
TIA,
Dan

How do they attach?

Hello Ray,

I have a 1985 with those roof rails and I have always been curious how they attach. Does it look like they insert into holes in the roof or do they stick down? You can email me at douglesm@gmail.com

Thank You,

Doug Massey

I've got these bars, so FYI, they attach via a thumbwheel that tigthens around a cylindrical fitting that clamps over the roof rack rails. They look very nice, and have rubber rub guards on them. they are chromed to match the rack rails. chances are they will NOT fit the 300CE

Thule makes a short roofline kit that might suffice for that application- get a 400 aero footpack, a fit kit for a 300E, and then the short roofline kit. LB50 load bars too. might work...
