15" wheels were factory on the w116 cars.

if you have 16" they aren't OE on your car.

post a pic and part number [if they are M.B.] someone may be able to help.

I think you you mean a 92 300SD not a "82 as you stated. Am I correct?

if you are after a w140 8 hole wheel, they are all over ebay.

I used this site as a reference: http://www.adsitco.com/category.asp?CID=1485 (probably not a good one). Check the 92 style alloys. I know these arent OE, but my car has 4 16" inch rims and its easier to get one matching rim and tire for a spare than it is to get 5 new rims and tires. And, honestly, they have grown on me. Like I said though, id rather pay someone else other than adsitco.
