I have been reading this forum for a while and I think it is great. It has been very helpful.

My alternator took a dive yesterday and I thought I would post a wanted add.
My car is a 1981 300 D.

I am looking for a complete alternator or just the rear bearing and the brushes.

You can get replacemnet bearings for a 300 d alternator from autozone and replacemnet brushes from napa.

Just thought I would pass this info along.
