Looking for a used trans, w/ electric relay, for a '83 300TDT wagon.

Does the electric relay have something to do with the speedometer?????

Not 100% sure, but I think it's the modulator relay for the kick-down. I don't know the exact year, but they switched from a mechanical relay to an electric one.

From 1982-1984 all the 300D Turbo's used the same transmission......check it out in the tech forum on this forum....if you decide you are looking for a transmission from any of the other 300D turbo's from 1982-1984 let me know...Jim

I have a 1984-300D Turbo and it is a good transmission, has all the gears and shifts like it should......350 dollars plus shipping... UPS will be about 100 but I need a zip and I will check...it will require 2 boxes because of the weight...but I will check and make sure...Jim
