Parting out 1982 240d

Car is leaving the road due to frame rot. I plan to use the engine to repower me M38a1 Jeep, just about everything else will be up for grabs. I will have most (but not all) the stuff needed to do a 4 speed conversion. Interior is blue and everything is in good shape with the exception of the dashboard. It has the hubcaps and four decent tires. All the body panels are pretty rusty so I doubt anyone is going to want them. Everything is priced @ "best offer". Name your price plus shipping and you'll win! I would prefer that all the big stuff be picked up, however you might be able to persuade me to Forward Air or Greyhound something to you if you want it really really bad. I will entertain offers on the whole car if somebody wants it as well. It has a clear Michigan title in my name. As I've never worked on one of these before I might need some help or advice on how to remove the component of your choice w/o damaging it.

I will probably begin stripping the car within the next few weeks. LMK whatcha might need!

the glove box striker.. its in the glovebox held on by two screws not part of the door itself but its the part the door clasps onto..

Need a right side mirrorcomplete with inside plate. need inside hood release handle and cable. need seat cushion if it doesn't have broken springs. all to 30047 zip--advise price

bud640: I'm afraid the battery tray isn't very solid. I wouldn't feel right about giving it to you for free, let alone selling it.

Surf-n-Turf: I don't think the car has any floormats. The carpeting is in great shape though. I'll take a look and verify later on today.

joel, I'm contemplating keeping the front seats. Feel free to make me an offer on all that other stuff though (and give me some pointers on how to get the mirror off! )
