WTB '87 300D turbo (W124) radiator

I need a used radiator and fan for an '87 300D turbo. These were only sent to the US in 1987 and no other W124 has the same part numbers (for radiator). Original part no is 124 500 31 03; superceded by 124 500 00 02. Fan is metal 116 205 24 06 or plastic 606 200 00 23, Part numbers from EPC. Shipping to 20115. Please send e-mail to juergenhbr@ieee.org. Thanks

Why buy used when you can get a good deal on new parts?

I wouldn't buy a used radiator for that car (trust me on this). You can get a new one for $200-$300 depending on if you want Nissens (aftermarket) or Behr (OE).

The clutch can be re-filled with silicone (search this forum for details) as long as the bearing is good. Many clutches have been replaced when they were not bad in the first place... a bad radiator can cause the clutch not to engage!! A used clutch may be OK from a reputable vendor like Potomac German, etc. But I still would NOT put in a used radiator. They often have internal corrosion while looking perfect on the outside, and the car will run hot (over 105C).

Thanks, I did order a new one. I don't need a clutch however, just the fan in either metal or plastic.

The 300E (M103) clutch fit on my SDL no problem. They're cheap new, I'd just pick one up. I have the plastic fan it if makes a difference.

Potomac German has a used metal fan from an OM603 on eBay right now... $50 or so I think.

I'll have to look into the M103 fan idea. Wonder what the difference is.

I had a few too many one night and decided to try it... and it worked. Both clutches apparently are 100% locked at the same temps and all.

Thanks for all the recommendations. Bought a new radiator from Radiator Monkey and a used fan from Potomac German.
