S500 wheels for sale
I have 2 sets of factory wheels for sale. First set are from a 95 S500 and and the second set are from 00 S500. Make a reasonable offer over $275 per set and they are yours. You pay shipping.

Hi Dan,
I assume 95 model would still fit my W124. Any chance to show some pics. Thanks. |

I am not positive but I can try them on a 86 300E to make sure. I will try and get some pictures this week.

Likely the 95 w140 wheels will fit but they will require slightly shorter lugs in the back for the w124 as the offset is different and the stock 124 lugs will hit the e-brake parts.

Think the lug bolts are different diameters. The S500s use a 14mm lug bolt.

Could be....The w124 lugs will work with those wheels though, provided you get shorter ones (or shorten them yourself by adding threads and cutting off some)

I don't doubt that you can put a 12mm lug bolt through the hole made for a 14mm lug bolt.
However, the mating surface of the lug ball on the wheel will be the wrong radius. A 12mm ball won't surface properly on a 14mm socket surface, so the bearing loads will be all wrong. As an engineer, I wouldn't bet my life that it will all stay together.
