300-E emergency triangle
Still looking for the emergency triangle for my 1992 300-E. fits under trunk attached with braket to carpet peice of trunk lid.

These are readily available on Ebay, they pop up all the time, not W124 specific either, the W140, W126 and W201's all use the same part.

"Warndreich" check spelling
The junkyards in Berlin are full of them.
Try www.ebay.de Be sure you get it with the mounting bracket. I got mine second hand from a German ebayer, so I saved $$$. I don't know how they mount on the 300E, because some of them have carpeting over where they would mount. But I think they have the mounting holes already in your car, US spec or not. For some reason they are DOT non approved, and required to be deleted on US bound cars of that year

The mounting bracket (a W140 part) can be bought thru US dealers still for about $5. All the W201, 124,140s have the mounting spot in the trunk , sometimes under the felt that you'll need to trim away. The bracket just slips in.
I have a couple nearly new metal 'warndreiecks' (Dambach made) that I'd be happy to let go of...PM me. |
