220d engine

Rebuilt 220d engine, still on the stand. The engine is in Albuquerque. Make an offer. The rest of the 1969 car is available - it's rough.

This engine/car will go to the scrap yard next week. I would hate to see this happen. It could be had for a song. - Jacob

Do you know the words to ANY song??
The man who loved this car died 10 years ago. Now his widow wants to get it out of the yard. He was an engineer and quite meticulous. The engine rebuild was one of his last projects and I am confident it was done well. As I said, it is still on the engine stand and I was able to turn the flywheel by hand. The engine is in the shed, not outside.
The body looked straight, but a tree branch crashed the rear window and debris has probably ruined a lot of the interior. Don’t know about internal corrosion, but we don’t get much rain here.
If you have any interest in this car please rescue it!! None of the local ‘auto recyclers’ are interested in this vintage car, so the only option seems to be the CRU**ER.
Your only expense would be getting it to Pittsburg.
You probably have a few weeks to do it as she wants things cleaned up by summer, but don’t wait too long.
I could try to take pictures if you are truly interested.
Jacob

Yes, I know the words to many songs, BTW....

I have a feeling this mission will envolve more than just rescue of a 220D. And I'm not just refering to the cross country trip. What is the condition of the front fenders and hood? The grill?
