FS: Blaupunkt Bremen MP74 Head Unit

I'm selling my Blaupunkt Bremen MP74... The Bremen was Blaupunkt's top of the line stereo, I don't think it is available new anymore.

Here are a couple of links for detailed specs..
Press Release

it isn't listed on the Blaupunkt USA website anymore, but here is he UK link
Blau UK

This stereo has some pretty unique features... It has a 108 band graphic equalizer that self adjusts using the included microphone. It runs through a calibration sequence using the microphone, and the equalizer optimizes the setting based on your car's interior, speaker quality, speaker positions, etc.

It also has Dynamic Noise Cancelling, using the same microphone, it 'listens' for road/engine/hvac noise in the car and boosts the approprate frequencies to compensate. You can adjust the sensitivity of this feature (1-5). Set at '5' it is quite impressive.. it really cancels out the engine noise. I think this is a lot more sophisticated than speed-sensitve volume adjustment...

Finally it has two receivers and uses 2 antennas to improve radio reception. I never got around to installing the second antenna, so it is still fresh in the packaging for the next owner. It is a small black disk with 2 thin wires that you glue to the windshield. Includes glass cleaner and special adhesive for installation. I have all of the the instructions.

Otherwise, it has all the normal functions, 4x26 watt rms (50 watt max) plays MP3s has rca output, and aux-inputs. Steering wheel mounted remote control is also included.

I just removed this from my '89 190e. I think it looks better than most aftermarket radios because you can adjust the color of the buttons and the colors of the display screen. You can tone it down quite a bit so its not so flashy.

You can see the 'suggested retail' price was over $800 dollars, most places sold them for $500, I bought mine for $400 open box from Midwest Electronics.com It has only been in my car for about 4-5 months. I have all papers, installation bits, remote control, that you need to install it. This model has been discontinued, and they haven't announced any replacement for it.

I'd like to get $335 dollars for it, and I'll pay standard ground shipping with insurance to lower 48 US states, if you want some other shipping you can pay me the difference.

I'm planning on listing it on ebay sometime this weekend.

Post or PM with any questions.
Thanks
Duane

Oopps...I guess thats the seattle not the Bremen..They're not quite the same, even though they're both the mp74

The Seattle and Los Angles MP74 models don't have the Dynamic noise cancelling feature. They do have the self-calibrating equalizer (only 5-band)(Microphone not included with the Seattle)

Those are the major differences that I found between the 3 models.
