1985 300d turbo engine and trans

Ok guys here is the one everyone is waiting for What I have here is a 300d turbo engine complete ..well less starter and air conditiong compressor..Ya never know when you might need a starter and I don't know if my compressor is any good on my 240d..On to the engine This is what I can tell you about it..when cold the oil pressure is pin on 3 on the gauge when hot its about 2-1/4 on the gauge at a idel..when about 50 degrees out it will start without preheading the glow plugs with a good battery of course
This engine has about 350k on it .

.My friend took it for a tests drive and i Followed with my 1982 240d.. My job was to follow in case the car broke down..well it never did and not only that he left me in the dust trying to catch up..when that turbo kicked in he was Gone..I've never seen a 5cyl car so fast in my life it really moves..I dove some pretty fast cars in the 60's such a hemi's ..

I myself like my 1966 2+2 421 tri power pontiac and that was very fast..anyway my point is IM very impressed how fast these cars are..I am open to any or all offers on the engine and transmision..the tranny seem to work just fine no slipping from what he could tell....If you want to hear the engine run I think i could email a short video off my camera

I forgot to mention it does have what looks like newer glow plugs
AND I will deliever it up to 300 miles one way from milwaukee at $0.50 a mile when a mutual time can be worked out..
