Original '93 500E Wheels & Tires (W124) in CA

Posting for a friend: a set of original equipment 8x16 wheels and tires from his old 500E for sale (8 hole style). They've been in storage for a while and he's just clearing out his garage. Offset is ET34 and 225/55/16 tires have about 25% tread remaining. Should also fit SL models, but will probably stick out too far for 300E/400E/E320/E420 models. I'll have pictures up soon. $250/obo. Email me at brad993@yahoo.com and I'll forward any contact info. Located in SF Bay Area, thanks.

Cool 500-E tires & wheels

I have a 1992 300-E sportline same wheel look but chrome which "I don't approve of . Do you think your wheels & tires would fit my W124 sportline?
What are you asking for the wheels & tires. any curb damage to any of the wheels?

You know I was always told they would stick out too far, but am running 17x8 ET 28 wheels with 225/45/17 rubber and they are about as far out as you would want to go, so the 34mm offset should work for w124's just fine. tires may be a bit wide for a regular w124. the 6mm more inwards would probably be fine as far I can tell.

On regular w124's, the fenders would need to be rolled for sure to stop rubbing.

But based on my rim width and offset, I think that those would work on a normal w124
