!PARTS! 1984 Mercedes 300D parts 4 sale !PARTS!

I am selling most of the parts off of my 1984 Mercedes 300D. These are some things available: 4 inner door handles/ 4 outer door handles. My offer for the ouer handles is $5.00. And inner ones can go for $2.50 each. The engine has most of the parts on it. Except a radiator and a couple of hoses, but the engine worked perfectly well before I took off the radiator. The engine is $499.00. If any other parts are needed ask. Thank You! If you want to know where i'm at, i'm in Spokane, WA.

Are you parting out the engine as well? Specifically I need a camshaft for a non turbo 617, mine has a visible wear ridge on the edge of one of the lobes where the pad doesn't touch it, I know it's just a matter of time once a lobe starts going.

Don, are you looking for hubcaps? I have a black set and a tan (yellow?) set, let me know.

Warning to all interested parties

I recently purchased some parts from this seller. They arrived contrary to his description of being "perfect". I asked for a refund, he was unresponsive for a number of days, his eventual response was that he would not. This member knowingly sold me damaged parts, and I don't want to see anyone else here get screwed over by him. So buyer(s) BEWARE.

Anyone else noticed most of the threads this person has started are all geared towards selling parts? Almost Seems like he just registered to peddle his parts cars......

There is also someone on this forum who sold a $9,500 1977 300D with a HIGHLY questionable 67,000 miles on it which grenaded 3k miles later and of course assumes no responsibility.

Profit motive

I see a few on here too. The only postings are to sell parts. The prices are too high and they are trying to get rich on the freight. I guess I can't name names because I have no proof of wrongdoing, and there is nothing wrong with trying to get top dollar for your parts, but if it is your business that you are profitting from, then you shouldn't be doing it here.

I guess it is all about how tight the rules of the forum are interpretted and enforced.
