Hi folks,
I need a trailer hitch for my 1987 560 SEL-it's a light trailer about the approximate weight of a small boat trailer that is now hauling and ultralight airplane.

I don't recall ever seeing a 560 towing anything but from the post here it does appear there are trailer hitches made for that body style.

I have a 1000lb hitch that came off a 82 SD. This is a well engineered design. I have scraped off most of the rust but otherwise what you would expect from 25 yr. old part. A search shows the going rate has been $75. I do have Pictures of the hitch comming off and will share.

I didn't realize how bad the hitch looked in the pictures I posted. In my enthusiasm to get them on the internet, I forgot to look at the quality. They were for my own reference after I had taken the hitch off of the "donor" car. May this picture be a little more helpful.

Use the part number in the picture and conctact your dealership for a price....

Wow! I thought mine was nice, but not like that. The one I offered is made in USA by the Arrow Co.. Very nice. I wonder how much $$.
