fyi, you can buy new aftermarket ones on ebay for less than your used ones. try lowering the price a little, especially if they're used and chipped

Yes, I see now what there going for on eBay. What's the difference between Hella and Bosch? I would think they would have to be the same configuration to fit. As to my set since I can't unload my 280ce eurospec I might as well put them back on. I collect English cars and this car doesn't leak, I can't deal with that.

Bosch and Hella lights are the same. Mercedes Benz makes the specification and then selects subcontractors to make the parts. The aftermarket ones are not German made. I have heard that some people are happy with them, but I would never go for the aftermarket ones.

If you want to have the height adjustment make sure that the lights have the diaphram. Not all the lights have it.

the ones on my 82 are made by "lucid" with no adjusters. after 3 years, i had to resolder the pins in the right side unit on the back of the connector after trying to figure out an intermittent no fog light problem. no other problems to date with them otherwise.
