FS: NIB 1500W Temro Zerostart Tank-Type Heater

Winter's coming!!!

No matter how cold it is outside, this 1500W heater will heat your engine fast. To save electricity, you could set it on a timer to come on an hour or two before you need to leave and you'll have instant heat as soon as you start your car or truck. It makes starting a whole lot easier too! And for VO users, it'll get you switched over much quicker.

It's a New In the Box (though the box itself looks a little ratty) Temro Zerostart engine heater model 3305003. (It's the kind without the checkvalve so it doesn't restrict or interfere with coolant flow.) It comes with instructions, a Y connector, mounting bracket, clamps, screws, and of course the heater.

These normally sell for around $100, but they are $53 (after s&h) at JCWhitney. (I bought this for a vehicle I no longer have and my Jetta and 300D both already have heaters.) SO...

I'll sell it to the first person with a reasonable offer and a verified Paypal account. (Yes, my account is verified too.)

edit: I just noticed the French side of the box is showing, but the box and instructions are in both English and French.

I don't know for certain, but the guys over at TDIforums, say the models that JCWhitney carries do have the checkvalve. I'm not sure why that's undesireable, but they say it is.

Ok, maybe I should've set a price.

I'll take $30.00 and that includes shipping.

Somebody with a dielsel has to buy this at this price. I installed a 1500 zerostart in my SD - starts up with no shaking, and I have heat right away, with one glow plug cycle, even at 10 below zero.

I installed a paragon timer so it turned the block heater on 2 hours before I get up in the am in the winter. I also have a battery blanket that stays powered up all the time when parked at home.

Starts like it's a 90 degree summer day in the dead of winter.
