I want some springs to lower my 89 300sel. Any suggestions ?

I know a guy in Apex NC that will put a torch to the spring and can lower your car however much you want it lowered, 1/2 inch, to 2 inches. He was pretty good at it.

Coil Spring Specialties will make you any spring you wish at a reasonable price.

Torch bad. Springs will require re-annealing. Cutting wheel ok. A coil-and-a-half will drop the front approximately 2 inches. Start with maybe one coil. If you want it lower, it might be a bit of a pain to pull the spring a second time, but it's better than taking too much.
