FS: W210 OEM CD Changer

OEM 6 disc CD changer, complete with OEM cartridge, OEM mounting bracket, OEM protective cover and mounting screws. This CD changer integrates and is designed to work seamlessly with your OEM stereo, and should fit ANY W210 sedan (1996 - 2002), and attaches behind the LR wheel well, in the side trunk-well. The chassis should already be pre-drilled for the mounting screws (if not, it's a 2 minute job, which anyone can do without danger of damaging other components). W210's should already have the CD harness installed, and run back to behind the seat - under the trunk panel trim (you may have to remove a few pieces to find the harness - as it likely is not hanging in the open if your car did not come with a CD changer). I *believe* the changer should also work in a wagon, but am not sure if the mounting bracket is the same (please check with a dealer).

$245 plus shipping. I accept US Postal MO and PayPal cash (no debit or credit)

Steven,

I already have a CD changer for my 2002 E320, but am not clear where it should get mounted. Can you tell me where the unit generally should be installed? Is it mounted with its top pressed against the upper deck of the trunk... I just don't see any pre-drilled mounting screw holes anywhere...

Thanks for any help you can give me...

Mouting in a wagon is different that mounting in a sedan. I believe MOST sedans already have a pigtail in the wiring harness ... but you may have to dig for it. Take out the trunk carpet entirely. If you do not see it there - you may have to dig around the LR wheel, LR wheel well, or behind the rear seat (good luck). The CD changer will mount in the driver side storage well ... with the loading door facing towards the sky. There SHOULD be three screw holes already drilled into a flange, at the edge of the wheel well. This is where the CD changer frame is mounted (only uses two holes). If there are no holes there, they can easily be drilled. You will need two sheet metal screws, if not already supplied. If you are standing on the PASSENGER side of the car (with trunk lid open), you should be able to read the front of the CD changer (from left to right). I hope I am explaining that properly ... but I am sure it will become clear with the pics. Unfortunately, the file size of my pics are too large to be uploaded, and I am not sure how to reduce the size. If you send me your e-mail address via PRIVATE MESSAGE, I can send you the pics via e-mail.

FWIW - My CD changer has the OEM protective cover ... yours may not.
