81 300SD misc engine parts
 

I have a motor that came out of a 300SD, so it's a 617 motor. Aside from a few things already taken off the engine, it's pretty much complete. Injectors are gone, 3/2 valve assembly off top of valve cover gone, no alternator or starter....Hmmm, I may have the starter some place, as I recall taking it off when I sold the tranny...It's gotta get out of my driveway soon....IP and turbo look good on it...If nobody has an interest will pull what I can and scrap the rest of the motor as I have no place to store it..Anybody that needs pics, please ask and I'll post some...I think the motor has about 175k on it....

if nobody wants it gimmie a shout before you scrap it. i can probably push some of the other engines aside and make some room.

OK, will do John....Yeah the city is on me to clean up around here, so unless I find a spot for it, it's gotta go...My garage is pretty well full with biodiesel making stuff right now, along with a bunch of veggie oil...Got it in the garage so it won't totally freeze...

I have an 84 300SD that just lost a motor -- is safe to assume the 617s are pretty much interchangable? Would this one drop in pretty much the same as the one coming out? And how much are you wanting for it?
