Parting out: 124 chassis 1993 300e 3.2
Hi everyone,
I am parting out a 1993 300e 3.2 liter 104 engine. The head was redone-new seals, guides, pressure tested and planed about 3,000 miles ago. The car is white and complete. It runs and drives. I'll post some pictures soon. I'll let the parts go cheap. It is taking up space at my shop. I have to make room for two more parts cars that are coming. Let me know your needs. Thanks, Dave bmwguru@optonline.net Last edited by autobahnauto; 01-07-2007 at 03:38 PM. |

I need headlamps and amber corners.
Also a trunk lid carpet in brown or gray? And the little piece that holds the battery down, and a battery negative ground strap. I could use a front spoiler bumper cover and impact strip. I'm also looking for OE 16" alloy wheels to replace my 1988 chrome ones. Thanks, Jason

As for the battery hold down, I have that. The ground strap....do you mean the battery negative cable or the chassis ground strap under the car? I have both. Dave |

Dave,
I think it would be silly to ask you to send used ground straps and battery hold down by themselves. Thank you very much. I have been checking the damage on my CE. I could use an entire bumper and cover and also one support. I might even need a fender since the bit that returns under the indicator lamp is bent inwards and looks like a ***** to bang back. I might get a body shop to weld up a piece from another fender. Might be best to replace fender (passenger) and also the support for the bumper that is under the lamps. Then for lamps I really just need a passenger lamp with indicator as mine is broke at the clips. The lamp off another W124 pre-facelift ought to work. I wonder what body shops will quote me. I thought if I assembled the parts I would use a family members body shop people and get a discount since its not really all that much work. Regards, Jason

Did the cruise control work fine? I'd be interested in the actuator. Thanks.

I would be interested in the front (dash) passenger speaker if available.

How much for the taillights? I really only need the passenger side but I know how hard it will be for you to get rid of just one side if you sold me the other.
Thanks, Frank

I just wanted to add some pictures of the interior. The seats are in good condition and door panels are excellent.
