I've recently bought an '84 300TD and I need a third seat for it. I bought the wagon for a family car and really need the third seat, the car has the punchout but the seat is absent.( was never there) Also this is a gray market car so finding a manual has been a pain! Any help in locating this part ( seat) would be greatly appreciated! Tom

I have a tan leather one, very good shape, how far from upstate NY are you? Also, what is a greymarket car? Lastly, does fryerpowered refer to biodiesel? If so, I'd be interested in how it's working out, as I'm getting ready to try running a batch in the benz.

(7-6-01) I do still need a seat so I will be trying to get in touch with someone that is as close as possible I guess. I'm in Michigan, but I guess if a guy can get the right part, it doesn't matter how far away it is to an extent! Next question...greymarket= bought in Germany, then shipped to US, NOT imported as are the ones sold over here by normal means.(at dealer) There are a few differences with the emissions , my guages my differ from the others too.(everything in metric, which don't bother me a bit)I don't know what all the differences are, all I know is that if I go to a dealer and ask for parts they sure want a lot more info. from me than they do from my buddy who has a similar car bought here in the US. YES fryerpowered ...I run EVERYTHING in my driveway on biodiesel. Both VW Rabbits, One VW Jetta (Turbo diesel) my F-250 dually and my 300TD. They all just love the stuff. I have probably close to 7k miles on the Mercedes right now on straight biodiesel, ( it doesn't get the miles that my Rabbit does) My Rabbit gets about 3500 miles per month put on it. I just went to a local fair two nights ago and picked up over 80 gallons of oil so this week I'll be running on elephant ear oil! Gotta run for now, Tom
