Pick n pull half off weekend

It is pick n pulls half off weekend in CA I am broke so again I will pull what parts I can for people charging the regular price making 50 percent on the parts I sell however don’t expect me to pull a crank for the $20 I would make on the difference between half off and full price. But I will get what I can there’s a lot of W126 versions 1 and 2 tons of 190 including some 190D2.2 a lot of old w108 six cylinders W123 are mostly stripped but two yards I have not been at in a while W116 cars are getting scarce 300E are plentiful I found A 350SDL the other day and stripped it. 420 sel are a dime a dozen a lot of 250 280S W115 I will have a better Idea of what is out there tomorrow night after I explore the yards further from my house. just reply to this thread with any parts request and I will se what I can get. Know your doing a good deed because it looks like I am going to buy a EURO 6.9 tomorrow and this will help replace the money I am misappropriating from various companies like PG$E

I'll be at SJ south and Newark saturday morning

Why can't I live by one of these? The junkyards around here are full of...well, junk. Where I lived in Atlanta, I swear I saw cars that looked like they could be driven right out.

Yes that would be great there were a few wrecked W124 a week ago and at those prices for doors I can get them from a few tow yards and underground wreckers on a ongoing basis’s if he has a need for them all the time I could do 11 or 12 parts a month I might be able to deliver them too depending on where in CA he is and how many he needs.
Let me know

Don’t tell the boss but I have UM heard rumors that’s right heard stories of employees and frequent customers playing smash up derby with cars while there driving them out to the yards. My favorite are cars that still have the dealer sales signs for as much as $2500 dollars are still on the windshield nice looking cars too that just don’t sell ending up at the wreckers for a few hundred bucks. One junkyard gets most of the tow companies impounded cars that the owners never paid the 30 day police impound fees some of these cars are so nice I bet the owners are still in jail so they could not pay the storage fees when the 30 day impound was up. There last drive on the gas left in the fuel lines can be pretty hard on the car but it makes pulling an engine a lot less risky if you get to drive the car for a quarter mile before plunking down the $500 this place charges for a complete engine. Some of the Mercedes I bet I could get three grand for with less than $50 in parts and 2 hours work it is such a waste. I just saw a near mint W115 with a ton of brand new parts on it the glow plugs were wired together with thick stranded wire instead of resistor wire they were brand new glow plugs too it makes you wonder

What would a cruise control actuator for a 85 300D cost?
