Complete 107 Front Subframe Assembly - For Sale
I have added a better picture to the eBay auction.
Please contact me directly: ElyMayor@hotmail.com, or phone 954-587-5874, before 10:00 PM, EST. I am selling a Complete 107 Front Axle Carrier Sub Frame Assembly, removed from a 1988 560SL with 140k miles. If I can't get a reasonable price as a complete assembly, I will consider selling it as individual parts also. I pulled this from my 1988 560SL as a result of a complete Front Axle "swap" (Excellent structural condition of the weldment - no cracks, especially in the area of the mounting ears for the control arms). It came with everything - coil springs, upper & lower control arms, rotors, wheel spindles, steering knuckle assemblies, steering knuckle arm assemblies, etc. (no calipers). I will include an illustrated set of instructions of what you need to do to remove your SubFrame assembly from your car and replace it with one you have rebuilt. The new owner(s) will be able to do a lot of work and will be able to gain value and time by working in a non-rushed environment and at a pace that allows for painting, undercoating, ordering parts (and, of course, returning wrong parts and re-ordering), going out to a shop with a BIG ball joint press to do the tough jobs etc. Once you are done with this on YOUR car, you can re-sell your removed subframe assembly or share it among club members etc. so that everyone in your inner circle can rebuild their 107 front ends. Think of how easy it might be if several people went in as partners and helped one another and learned from one another. I understand some members here are getting into home lifts, but I had to pay a commercial shop 6 hours of labor to complete the removal / installation swap for me but it was well worth it. This labor included installing new front Bilstein shocks and the motor dampener shocks, as well as new tie rods and steering dampener. Also included alignment. So you see, you can actually SAVE a bundle with a "toy" like this, because when shops quote you the labor for removal / installation "swap" by the shop rate books, you can incorporate NEW parts at that time, thus avoiding future labor charges for for any / all of those parts. I have this for sale locally and on eBay, also. I have added a better picture to the eBay auction. Last edited by ElyMayor; 02-22-2007 at 06:18 PM. Reason: Add pictures |

It's located in Davie Florida (Ft. Lauderdale area). I am guessing that motor freight boxed, on a pallet, would run $200 - $300 in the contiguous 48 states. Thanks for your interest.
