My R129 Panoramic Roof is For Sale

I have a mint condition black panoramic roof for sale that have a light gray interior and sunshade and everything are intact. Pictures coming in just a minute. It is located in North Miami, Florida. I was going to pay to have it shipped to me up here, but decided against it since my SL73 I bought already has one, and my old SL600 has already been sold.
Accepting reasonable offers.

reasonable offers?

What is reasonable?

On a desert island with no fresh water, $1000 an ounce is reasonable. If you live on lake Tahoe, not so much.

Do you want to sell it?

What is your price?

If you want to keep it as a piece of modern art, then just let it sit in your living room until someone makes you a reasonable offer.

I'm not trying to be argumentative, but there are some things that we would buy if the price is right, but are not actively seeking. For me, I have a sl600 and a pano roof in black would be a nice addition, but it is not as necessary as say a steering wheel or tires.

Therefore, if you would like to list at least a range of what you believe is reasonable, then I might make you an offer. A pano roof in new condition from the dealer is probably around 10k would be my guess, but this price is far from reasonable unless you're making a mint selling movies of Anna Nicole in an altered state looking like a pathetic Howdy Dowdy clown asking what's, "What's a mushroom trip?"

So are you making an offer to sell, or are you just soliciting offers to buy?

By the way, I have a motorcycle for sale, and I am accepting all reasonable offers.

I am just waiting for that phone to ring off the hook now.

Again, not to be argumentative, but I always thought that the best sales technique is to offer an item for sale with a price.

That advice and .02 cents gives you a grand total of .02.

Don't take this post too seriously, it's Friday and i'm in a funny mood.

and the poster's name is "luvlaw" who doesn't want to be argumentative. If I was the seller I'd say to you reasonable is $10 less than the new dealer price. BTW- bump.

reasonable price

Well MTUpower, I guess I should have left off the , "Don't take this post too seriously" sentence based on your comment.

Again, the post was tongue in cheek to an extent, but the point stands I believe, that a seller will get more calls on an item with a price.

As for the seller giving me a $10 discount on dealer price, that's his perogative, but the point is I won't be making any offers without a price. Why would I? If I offered $500, he may get pissed off since in his view, this is unreasonable, where in my view, if it's just sitting there with no offers besides that one, it would be reasonable. Understand now?

Reasonableness is vague and can be anything really, so just say "I'm accepting offers, to add the word "reasonable" I think does nothing to change the viewpoint of the buyer, only the seller who is the only one who know what he considers reasonble.

Anyway, that was my point. If you fail to understand it, I apologize.

I am what I am?

What might that be? It's amazing, what took you so long to personally attack me? I just made a tongue in cheek comment on a Friday afternoon in good fun and you attack me personally and even my posting name.

Ok MTUpower-Dog, I didn't know you'd break out the East Coast/West Coast gang banging with your bad-self.

I guess because you're on the East Coast you're far more refined than us out here. Wow, a geographical-personal attack, how juvenile.

Thanks for the post, I am sure you'll reply with more East Coast class.

Out here, when someone apologizes it's at least in good taste to accept it graciously, even if you don't mean it.

In your case, well, I don't know what your case is.

Again, for all those reading this, I apologize if my comments seemed out of line, but if you read closely I did write, "please don't take this post too seriously"

Either some people can't read or can't assimilate what they read into their thoughts, or take themselves too seriously.

To SL600 V12,

I hope your top sells and you get great price, I meant no offense and I apologize if you took it the wrong way. Since you haven't posted I assume you didn't or just don't care either way.

I guess it's better just to read posts and not write any as there are people out there who will attack you personally if they don't like you or what you write doesn't meet with their approval.

Cheers.

No attack was meant, if you thought I was "attacking" you; well, then you thought I was attacking you. Like I said, keep on trucking.
