Hi All,

I have a '95 E-320 and it is my understanding that headlights and grille (maybe tailights) changed for 94-95.

Good Luck.

Yep. And Ruben's car in the original pic at the top of the thread appears to have the '94-'95 hood. Those lights won't fit a pre'94 124 unless the hood is also changed.

Love the paint job and the CLK wheels, though.

Nah, he used the pre 94 lights on his car. Thats why the hood overlaps the inner light a little bit.

what kind of projectors did you get?

I have these type of projectors and was thinking about making them HID too.

I have these type:
http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/attachments/tech-help/44961d1181279090-euro-projectors-headlights-would-fit-us-spec-w124-5770.jpg

The only thing, on the bottom of the light, there is a sticker that says "HID bulb not allowed".

So, I was wondering if the warning just has to do with something like not to put in an HID bulb (because people may think it is HID, not halogen)

OR

if the warning has to do with potential damage to the light, for example if the HID bulb would produce too much heat and melt things??

so has anyone made these types of projectors HID ????

Because the HID arc tube puts the light source in a different place than the filament of the incandescent/halogen bulb, the pattern will be different.

Exactly. If you want HID just take out the halogen projector that is in there and replace it with an HID projector off of ebay. Then you won't blind anyone!
