Now need sls parts in New Hampshire (found trailing arm!)

I'm replacing a rusted out trailing arm on an '82 300td. I've acuiered the part, and now have to remove the shock inorder to remove the old trailing arm. The line that goes from the accumulator to the shock is rusted quite badly at the shock. I'm afraid that when I remove the line it's going to destroy it self and the fitting on the shock as well. I'm looking for a replacement shock and the line as well. Even a part number on the line, or a thread pitch of the fitting may be helpful.

Anyone have any of these parts available in New England, or even In the USA?
(SLS shock & SLS line from shock to Accumulator?)

Thanks,

the shock, new won't be too cheap. However, the line is not that expensive. Get the line straight from the dealer, as it will be the correct length, coated with a special oxidation resistant coating and the threads will match.

Your alternative is to take the line to a hydraulic shop once you remove it. A good shop will be able to hand you one or fabricate one quickly.
