FS: Box of W123/616/617 parts

I no longer own any W123's, or any cars with 616/617 engines. These are leftover parts that I want out of the garage. Here a list of what I have, with current prices noted (what you'd likely pay for these new - NOT what I'm asking! Price is noted at the bottom.) I have one of each except as noted.

NEW OE/dealer parts:
615-070-40-32 - Fuel line, OM616/617 ($15.00 list)
615-070-42-32 - Fuel line, OM616/617 ($16.50 list)
615-070-56-32 - Fuel line, OM616/617 ($37.50 list)
123-725-04-25 - Front door window run, W123, fits L or R ($57.00 list)
123-727-00-87 - Front door plastic liner ($2.70 list)
123-737-03-87 - Rear door plastic liner, qty 2 ($6.75 list)
003-988-41-78 - Door panel trim clip, qty 10 ($7 list for 10)
000-990-21-92 - External trim rivet, qty 2 ($0.40 list for 2)
001-988-76-81 - External trim fastener, qty 6 ($6 list for 6)

NEW OEM/aftermarket parts:
123-323-05-85 - Front sway bar bushing (pair) for W123 sedan ($12 / pair)
000-090-00-50 - Primer pump, OM616/617 ($25)
617-203-01-80 - Thermostat O-ring/gasket, qty 2 ($3 each)
615-016-00-80 - OM616 (240D) valve cover gasket ($7)

USED parts:
123-800-33-75 - W123 REAR door lock vacuum pod ($33 new)
617-142-00-64 - EGR tube ($66 new, lol!)
Passenger's side headlight housing & bezel ($???)
Glove box door with GOOD latch mechanism

See photo below. You get everything in the photo. All this stuff would likely add up to over $200. I think the headlight housing cost me $50+ alone. I would prefer NOT to separate the lot... you can buy everything and re-sell what you don't need.

Asking $100 for everything, FREE shipping in the USA.

I have one extra set of the 3 fuel lines (first 3 new/OE items) which I will sell separately, $30 for those, free S&H.

What is the condition of the passenger headlight bezel/door? If it has no, or minor pitting, I would be interested.

Those 3 615 part numbers are the plastic fuel lines around the IP and fuel filter. Those would be handy to have if you want to undo a botched WVO conversion.

Never seen a Lovecraft, but posted on a couple of threads about poor running / non running diesels last week. One of 'em posted pictures of hacked lines, and the other was telling some Mother Goose tales, but strongly suspect hacked lines on that one also. I recognized those part numbers because I just looked them up a couple days ago. I am working on a list of part numbers needed to restore a fubared 123 / 126 diesel fuel system.

Hi everyone,

The majority of the parts are sold & paid for. The headlight housing+bezel is still available, asking $30 for that. I also found a W123/OM617 air cleaner assembly, the big metal can. If anyone is interested in that please let me know. I'll try to get a photo soon.

Oh, I also decided I'll probably never use my Hazet valve adjusting tools again either. I've got the full set with all 3 wrenches, plus the OE feeler gauge tools with all 6 sizes of feeler gauges, all factory/OE items. Samstag and eBay sellers want $99 for the 3 wrenches plus S&H, no feelers. I'll sell the whole thing for $80 including feelers, free shipping in the USA. I think I used these one time. Photo is below.

Thanks!!

All the original parts shown in the photo are sold.

The OM617 air cleaner, and Hazet valve adjust tools, are still available.

Hey Dave,

You are selling those wrenches. That GB was a lot of work for me. LOL. Does the 500 need some love (aka $$$)?

Thanks for shipping the other parts.

Yeah... sorry about that! My last 617 went away over 2 years ago and I haven't touched the wrench set since then. Kind of a bummer, they're really nice. Oh well. And yeah, I'm cleaning out, trying to pay for some projects on the '87 and the rocket. I've got some W124 items I'll be listing on the forum soon (lower moulding kit, new steering wheels, Brembo brake kit, etc etc).

There's a pending sale on the Hazet wrench set.

The air cleaner is still available. The air cleaner fits turbos WITH air recirculation valve (ARV), basically 1984 CA models, and 1985 Federal models. It's different than the earlier 82-84 Federal air cleaners. It's the one on the LEFT side of this photo. Make an offer, I'll let it go real cheap, I just hate to toss it out... these are kinda rare:

Here's pics of the air cleaner assembly. If nobody wants it I'll end up tossing it...
