Well, I sold the 1975 240D and have two almost new Service Manuals.

I bought the Chassis and Body one from Mercedes, the engine one is out of print, so I picked up a new, wrapped copy from ebay. Both were new in the past year. They have library-quality reinforcing tape added to the spine and the edges.

2. Service Manual Chassis and Body Series 114/115

The first $85 gets them both, INCLUDING SHIPPING to anywhere in the US of A.

The manuals arrived in pefect condition no doubt thanks to the extra care taken with the multi-layered packing materials! And best of all, the manuals themselves are in excellent almost new condition! Thank you sir, it has been a pleasure doing this business with you!

This is my first Mercedes. Picked it up for 350 dollars. Runs great after it is warmed up, but wants to stall out until it is warmed up.

Also, there is a knob with "colder" written on it. The fan will only work if this knob is turned clockwise. Heater switches under the hood seem to work, but no heat.

Any suggestions would be wonderful.
