Are you broke and need inexpensive parts for your 123 diesel?

I posted this in another thread last night but thought it might not be seen as well as it should.

I will be parting out a couple of 123's and possibly a 126 this Friday (tomorrow). I do not know the colors or conditions of these cars except that they are about to become scrap metal. I have a friend who works in the scrap metal business and when he gets any MB's on the yard he calls me and I go and dismantle them getting every part that I can. I usually drive away with $$$$ in used parts for a hundred bucks. I used to get engines, trannies, accessories, everything I could load in my old pick-up. I no longer own a truck but I will get everything my car trunk can hold.

Do you need a part or two? Compile a list and email that to me. I will send you a price for your part(s) and then you can let me know whether or not to get the part(s). I can test most parts for functionality but not all. If the part you receive does not work then I will refund your purchase price plus shipping(one way) AFTER I receive the defective part back. I am not in the parts business but rather have a passion for these old cars so it's not about making a profit for me. I just need to recoup my expenses in traveling several hours to get these parts (fuel mostly). Email if interested.

Kevin

if you have any henna red interiors then i would like the sunvisors off of them.

if you have any normal palamino interior then i would like the driver side map pocket, a driver seat arm rest, a cruise control amp for a manual (with vacuum line to it), a Warning triangle with clip for a W123, a Glove box with working spring mechanism.

that is the list of items i need that are small and shippable. let me know,

thanks,

Dan

rear hatch

If you have a rear hatch for a 81-84 wagon that's not rusted/dented, I'd be interested.

How about two good Henna red driver and passenger's door pockets? I would also like a set of four steel or aluminum wheels with hubcaps if they are there and not too beat up. I would prefer the lighter aluminum ones but those are somewhat hard to find.

Hmmm....

Manual sunroof handle
Palomino seat material and arm rest (if they're in good shape)
Drivers window and door seal (again, if in good shape, no cracks)
Palomino floor mats
Glove box wood, zebrano
Any parts off the sls if you've got a wagon.

Let me know man, Thanks!

Darn I wish I lived near you, I'd give you my truck for runs like this.
I could use a new (everything it seems) palimino arm rest (if not cracked) and a glove box door. . . and a clock.
Oil fill cap for the 123 that's metal perhaps?

Cheers,
-nB

Hey guys!

Please EMAIL your parts lists. Only those that are emailed will be processed and added to my master list. Sorry for any inconvenience. I don't want to be difficult but this is more convenient for me.

Also, keep in mind I can only bring back parts that will fit in the trunk of my SDL. No fenders, doors, engines, or hatches (sorry BioBens). While the trunk is very roomy in the SDL I will not risk causing damage by carrying large awkward pieces. Also I will not know condition or colors of the vehichles until I see them tomorrow. If your part is available then I will grab it and then notify you. You are under no obligation to take the part. I am going anyway whether anyone needs parts or not. I make a list and get what I can. Best I can do. I said that I would tell you a price once you emailed your requests but I will have to let you know based upon availability. I can garrantee that it will be a very, very inexpensive price. Once again, you are not obligated even if I get the part. Like I said, I am going anyway for my benefit as well.

If you live near the Columbia, SC area, own a truck and would like to help me make a run then I will be more than happy to get larger items. Of course anyone who goes with me will have to be blindfolded within 10 miles of the place and remain so until I have removed the parts and we have gotten at least 10 miles away from the location

Remember, EMAIL me your list. Sorry to sound so "short" in this post but I am ina hurry and don't have time to better articulate.

Kevin

WTB Driverside window for an '85 300D

Hi,

A noble endeavor to recycle all those parts.

I wonder if it is worthwhile to ship a driver side window to N.Y. state .
