It is the hinge and latch that are bad on mine. The leather is in pretty good shape.

If you have one that's good on the inside but torn up outside (any color), let's talk. :)

I have one in gray it has a phone cradle (no phone) Came off a 400E. I'm considering shipping it abroad.

There's one on Ebay right now. It's black though. Looks nice.
Go to Ebay Motors. Click on car/truck. Then type in W124 console box in the search bar. Bid is at $32.00 when I looked. Shipping extra.
Be prepared to pay. These things are in demand. I had to battle for one last year for my W126. Ended up paying $240 for it. No regrets. Very handy. Good luck.

Are the armrests from the 400E and E320 the same?
 

If so, let me know what you want for the grey one. I only want the insides...
