300 SD Turbo engine FS $200
The whole motor is up for grabs for $200...Parts missing off of engine, cruise actuator, 3/2 valve assembly, fuel injectors, injector lines (may be in the garage somewhere), alternator brackets and I think AC brackets, know for sure alternator bracket is gone...Still has the automatic flywheel on it...I went down the other evening and got out my big wrench and turned it over by hand and watched fuel start squirting out the injector pump ports...I'd think for $200 someone can use it..It's just taking up room in my garage I can use for other things...Also have whats left of a 79 300D motor and tranny that goes along for the ride if you buy the 300SD motor...

603 or 617? I'll take it if it's a 603.

Ooops, I should have added that, it's a 617 motor, came out of an 82 or 83 300SD....Also prefer local buyer, as I don;t have the means to crate this thing...If it don't soon go, am going to send it to the bone yard....I'll flea bay the IP and turbo and sell the rest for scrap $$$...

Wait! That '79 300D motor... Does it happen to have a decent camshaft and rocker arms? I could seriously use them. :)

I might be interested in it, but I wouldn't be able to pick it up until June 23 or so. How close are you to I-95? I currently have a 1982 300SD with a bad engine and have gone back and forth on junking it or putting another engine in it. I'm driving another load of stuff down from Maryland to Florida and could take the engine if you're not TOO far from I-95 on the way down. Please let me know - right now, my preference would be to drag that car down to Florida and add it to my restoration group.
