do you know if your 85 is equipped with the factory alarm. 1. there should be a support bracket centered midway on the upper firewall area which holds a standard type door and or deck lid courtesy lamp switch. the push button is depressed by the rear of the hood panel when the hood is closed. these alarms were not very popular back then and many people removed the switch and de-activated the alarm. even though the switch and bracket may be gone, there should be two small bracket mounting holes in this area. 2. there should be an alarm activated horn, very similar to the regular horns but smaller, mounted beneath the engine side of the battery tray. 3. there will be a wire harness running along the bottom inside of each door leading to a black micro switch which is mounted on the door key actuating rod. the harness is enclosed in a white cotton type sheath. please advise. if so equipped, i will arrange to come to PA. and get the part i need. thanks much
