warning (trunk) triangle with mounting clip

If anyone needs one, I have two spare warning triangles with mounting clips for a W123 and a W201 (one of each). $35 each plus shipping sound reasonable?

A cheap way to get into the Trunk Triangle Club

It's a $10 dealer part, and a pocket pick and pull item. Your price is high.

The triangles are only $10? I think the seller said he's selling a triangle + clip for $35 + shipping, not just the clip.

Indeed, this is the triangle and clip, guys. Read the description. If the price is high, I'll just keep 'em... no hard feelings. Don't mean to sound touchy, but, with all due respect, please don't enter the thread just to grouch about my price (particularly if you have misread the description). OTOH, if indeed the triangle AND clip are a $10 part at the dealer, please post part numbers and your dealer's contact info for folks. I am sure there would be plenty of takers, and I'm glad to stand corrected of that's the case.

I bought just a triange from this guy. His prices are very very reasonable.

The one I bought a triangle from him in good shape. He did get these in Germany.

This person is not a rip-off.

Thanks Ralph!

If these don't sell, I won't be too upset. There's always eBay or I'll just keep them for a bit longer. They're not going to LOOSE value, I don't think. Either way, no big deal, but thanks for the kind words!

Any time my friend. I will take up for people that treat other right. You are doing what is right.

No, they won't lose value at all. You should get a good ROI if you e-bay them.

Do you have any lines on an '85 300D instrument cluster?

Thanks, Ralph. I have a spare cluster, but it's got the clock, not the tach, and it's untested. Let me know if that'll do you any good and you can have it for shipping costs. Thanks again!

I just got a triangle and clip for $5 from the pull your part, but then again, thats only IF you can find a car that still had it.

$35 for one here is still a steal!

VSTECH needs the tach. Please let me know what shipping is and I'll take it from you. It needs to be from an '85 so my speed and odo stay in synch. I have a place locally that can repair speedometers.

Thanks again!

I think this cluster is from an early W123 diesel (it came with my '80 Euro 300D as a US-Spec replacement cluster, but I prefer the KM speedo and odo). If you think it'll work for you, let me know and it's all yours. Several (or all?) of the bulbs are missing and it's well-used, but hey... it's free.

Have you tried the speedo repair as found here on the forums? I did it on my old 300TD and it worked perfectly. Quite easy to do, too.

Let me know if you still want it. It's not going anywhere anytime soon, so no hurry. You might ask forum member Jim from IN (I'm not sure what his screen name is) if he has a spare from an '85 specifically, too. Check the parts listings; I think there's a long thread of his in which he's parting several W123's.
