1976 300D- anyone got rear shocks?
 

I'm looking for a decent pair of used rear shocks for my 1976 300D. Even better if they're somewhere in the Southern California area, so that I can pick them up.
The car is lacking in the body department, so I'm trying to keep my investment down on it.

I'm looking into replacing the front springs and all shocks on my 79 240D. If you haven't found anything by then you're welcome to mine. If they fit?:D

The W123 shocks are different than the W123 ones. Deanna can have have the set in my 300D but I doubt they're any better.

If you're going to spend any sort of time in the car, buy new ones there's no point in spending the time to get used ones and then realize they are the same after installing them.

Where are you in Southern California?

I'm in Mountain Center, near Anza and Idyllwild in the mountains west of Palm Springs.

But I spend quite a bit of time in Yucca Valley as well.

I'd rather put new ones on it, but money is an issue right now and dropping money into this car is tempting but foolish.
