123 Cali transmission
I pulled it out of my 1985 300TD, it was slipping and groaning out of a stop.
My tech says the Cali trannys are not that common, and that someone may want a usable core. I have no idea of what it is worth, so if there is any interest, shoot me an email or message here. The tranny is located in Orange County NY. Someone help me pay for a new windshield and gasket seal.

I have two 1985 300D's; one Fed and One Cali. Aside that my Fed is a 2st gear start and my Cali is a 1st gear start what is the difference in the transmissions?

I am not exactly sure what the difference is. Do a search here (vacuum, trans) and look for a trans rebuilder on the west coast, who has delineated the different models. My tech says the trans is one used in the 190's, and generally behaves differently.
