Like it says. But I'm hunting for a low milage diff along with the speedo please. Any 85 123 Diesel I think will have a 2.88 diff.

I've got an 85 diesel wagon with a noisy (whining) 2.88 I'm told. As all 85's were 2.88 ratio.
I'm looking for another 2.88. I've not priced the gear set yet, but have to believe it's gonna be easier to swap the whole pumpkin than set up the gears without lash.
I don't know what's in the gasser, but it's an 82 twin cam 1747? cc lump? I saw that 1747 on the crossmember infront of the radiator. No markings on the trunk deck, and don't know where I might find the markings on the engine to designate the cc's. I've not been under the car yet, so also don't know if the diff has a tag on it or not.
