WTB: OM617 non-turbo injectors or nozzles
I'm looking for a set of at least five working injectors , or nozzles, and I'm willing to gamble on used ones. My current injector nozzles are beyond all hope, but I don't want to drop the cash on new nozzles when I'll be upgrading to a turbo motor when the weather clears up next year. I would like to stop fogging the planet with raw, unburned fuel from my exhaust, however. (The improvement in fuel economy would be great, too!)
If you happen to have a set that you replaced just for an improvement, even though the old ones were working acceptably well, I'd like to talk to you.

I probably have five decent ones. You will have to give me the number off the ones that you desire though to be sure I pick five of the ones you want.

Ouch. I know the nozzle numbers, and I've the housing numbers written down here, somewhere, but I think the injector housings were used with more than one variety of nozzle. A KCA-blah-blah-blah housing could potentially have three or four different nozzles thrown in them depending on the vehicle. I don't recall if the nozzles have a MB number stamped on them, though... Is there supposed to be an MB number on the housings? I'll do some more research and post back.

I believe there is.
If you like I can make an educated guess. I don't think I have any turbo injectors lying about, and the na ones probably are all the same. Tom

Well, I've figured out this much regarding N/A OM617 injectors for my motor...
Original Injector part # was 001 017 21 21, (I believe these are what I have,) followed by a long list of superseded numbers. The list of superseded numbers, from past to present, is as follows: 001 017 65 21 001 017 76 21 001 017 90 21 001 017 94 21 002 017 15 21 - The current part number. Any of these numbers will work, obviously. What I don't know for sure is if MB allowed for them to be mixed within the same motor. Logically, sticking to five identical versions would take the guessing out of the equation.
