I bought an MB drivers seat, advertised here, from Kynyption, apparently a short term member of the forum. Sent the thief a check and waited a month. Several email exchanges (he even sent pics of the seat on the garage floor awaiting packing) later, over a three month period, each one promising he would ship the next day, and he no longer responded. If he shows up again, beware.

Do you have a phone number or e-mail address for him? Give him a week to respond...and then post his info here. Maybe someone local to him could drop by for you and inquire about your parts.

I've shipped a seat, it's a pain. easiest to remove the power base and ship separately IMO. Hopefully he just hasn't figured out packing and sending it yet, ... although no excuse for not being in touch or for depositing your check without sending.

Manual seat, I suggested he remove the bottom rails for ease of packing, check cleared on the 15th of May, seems as though he might have figured it out by now. I suggested that he simply wrap with a sheet of bubble wrap and tyvec or something similar over that.

Did you try him on his (808) 341 0723 number?

I had a guy out in Washington state do it to me one time. He had no idea, that being a truck driver at the time, I eventually got to/through every state, Canada, and Mexico, on a pretty much regular basis. Needless to say, he was really surprised when I pulled up to his repair shop with my tractor trailer one day at random. He gave me the cash back with no trouble...I think this was because he had a few customers in the shop, and didn't want to argue with me, or cause a scene. He was still pretty surprised, and had a really weird look on his face when I introduced myself to him, and asked him if he still had the 300CD he sold me for $1500.00 six months, a lot of unreturned phone calls, and emails earlier.
